JUNEAU CAMPUS
The University of Alaska Southeast Juneau campus is the scholastic home to about 700 full-time and 2,000 part-time students. It offers a variety of degree and certificate programs including master’s and bachelor’s degrees.

The Juneau campus’ natural setting along the shores of the Inside Passage lends itself to the study of marine biology and environmental science. All degree programs, and especially programs in public administration and business administration, take advantage of our location in the state capital. Small classes, personal attention and interaction with faculty, a dynamic location and real educational value are all key components of a UAS education.

KETCHIKAN CAMPUS
The Ketchikan campus, the oldest campus in the region, was established as Ketchikan Community College in 1954 and merged with the statewide university system in 1987, becoming a satellite campus of the University of Alaska Southeast. Ketchikan is the first city visitors arrive at on the Inside Passage. UAS Ketchikan awards departmental certificates of completion, one-year certificates and two-year associate of applied science degrees. The tradition of strong vocational technical programs also continue in Ketchikan and include health care, maritime, welding, business and professional development, visitor industry, fisheries technology and forest technology. Ketchikan continues to expand its distance education and now offers both a Small Business Management Certificate and Associate of Arts degree online.

For more information visit the Ketchikan Campus Homepage

SITKA CAMPUS
The Sitka campus, founded as Sitka Community College in 1962 and merged with UAS in 1987, shares in the community’s heritage of being the former capital of Russian America. Sitka is rich in history and a popular tourist attraction. The campus awards departmental certificates of completion, certificates, associate of applied science and associate of arts degrees. The Sitka campus has also assumed administrative responsibility for the outreach programs of the University of Alaska Southeast.

For more information visit the Sitka Campus Homepage

The University of Alaska Southeast is a growing regional university with the main campus located in Juneau and extended campuses in Sitka and Ketchikan.

Each campus of the University of Alaska Southeast, and the communities in which they’re situated, offers learning experiences and outside-the-classroom opportunities that are totally unique.
